The “Puntilla”, alloteuthis subulata (see FAO book) is a product which is exclusive to our home market. It is not an immature squid but a different species. In its adult state the trunk never exceeds 8 cm. It is produced exclusively in Marocco. After careful selection it is frozen on the spot with the utmost care, resulting in a delicious product which one should definitely try.
