THE COMPANY TODAY.
The company has a complete infrastructure of over 11.000 m2, equipped with sophisticated transformation and elaboration plants, and a storage area with cold-storage rooms that have movable shelves and a capacity of 43.000 m3.
The main establishment of the company is located in the interior of the Free Trade Area of Cádiz – an area which enjoys certain fiscal benefits applied to such precincts by the European Union.
Located in a strategic setting with an easy access to the world´s best fisheries, and due to compliance with the strict health and quality control regulations set by the European Union, PROCOSUR has become an important exporter of frozen products at the European level.
The basic advantages of PROCOSUR are its capacity of processing and production of frozen products as well as its strengh of distribution. The company has its own fleet of 21 trucks capable to deliver more than 230 tons of frozen food per day to local, provincial, regional, national and even international markets. Equally important is the chain of 32 retail outlets scattered throughout the province with two outlets in Mercasevilla which provide an important gateway to the consumer through the “Mercas” network.
It is worth mentioning, that all this is only possible thanks to the staff of 250 people currently working in the company.
